MÖTLEY CRÜE Singer Gets A Facelift: Graphic Video Footage Available
December 7, 2004Graphic video footage of MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman Vince Neil getting a facelift as part of VH1's "The Remaking of Vince Neil" series, has been posted online at VH1.com (click on "Vince Neil Gets A Facelift" in the "Video" section). A description of the program, as posted on the VH1.com web site, is as follows:
"'The Remaking of Vince Neil' begins at a dingy club, in a strip mall in Minnesota, where Vince is performing solo to a small, aging, but loyal audience. The former frontman from MÖTLEY CRÜE has become significantly overweight, has maintained an escalating drinking habit, and is struggling to come up with new music to keep his sound current.
"Vince Neil is presented with the opportunity to remake himself in preparation for one ultimate goal: a grand finale concert that could re-launch his career.
"Over the next few months, Vince Neil will face his issues, battle his demons and will be tested on every level.
"Visiting a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon could wash away years of wear and tear. A personal trainer seeks to correct Vince's bad habits and help him lose those extra pounds. Fabulous stylists direct Vince toward the proper threads and a more contemporary hair-style. Recording a new song with a legendary music producer could prove to be a hit or a flop. A brand-new Vince Neil is within reach, but will Vince accept the challenge?
"No matter how much he trips and falls, whether he succeeds or fails, the experiences Vince encounters along the way will build the person he will become. See what happens when a dedicated and driven team of professionals joins forces, in an attempt to re-launch, rejuvenate, re-master and remake Vince Neil."
"The Remaking of Vince Neil" is expected to begin airing sometime in early 2005.
